Well pet visits: Including, exams, vaccines, heartworm testing, nutritional consultation, wellness and geriatric exams and blood work. Puppy consultation and some training recommendations.

Diagnostic testing: Our state of the art digital x-ray capabilities helps us minimize the time your pet is on the x-ray table. It also allows us to email the radiographs to a consultant or specialty center when the situation requires it. Our in house laboratory allows us to do screening on sick patients while you wait. If needed, we also utilize a full outside veterinary specialty laboratory and several University labs. We have expert Ultrasound capabilities available by appointment.

Surgery and Dentistry: All of our surgery and dentistry patients are required to have blood work so that we can be as safe as possible with the procedures we perform. At risk patients are placed on IV fluids during and after the procedure. All of our patients are monitored by surgery personnel before, during and after each procedure. We are very conscious of your pets discomfort and manage pain with medications. All of our patients that have undergone major procedures (spay, neuter, dental extraction, etc) go home with pain medications as well.

Integrated therapy: For our patients that can’t tolerate certain pain medications we have laser therapy available. This has afforded relief to many of our older, more frail patients. We also have natural stress relief supplements and full spectrum, pharmaceutical grade, CBD pet products.

Boarding: Our Feline and Canine boarding facilities are kept separate for the comfort of our feline patients. Our cat condos can be opened up to allow a multi spaced apartment so patients can board together with housemates or just have room to spread out. Our Canine guests are housed in spacious runs, we also have capabilities to have multi-run housing for housemates or some of our more timid guests. Our facility includes a play yard where dogs are exercised individually three times daily. On nice days our staff keeps them out and plays with them whenever possible. This is at no extra charge to the client. We provide blankets and beds for any of our patients who’s parents say it will be OK and they won’t harm themselves with them.

Our receptionists and team will attempt to accommodate all requests to the best of our ability. Emergencies are accepted anytime our clinic is open. If you feel you have an emergency with your pet, please call us or come in immediately. If possible it is best to call before coming in so that a staff member can advise you on your particular emergency.

Emergency & Urgent Care

We have a veterinarian and personnel on duty six days a week who are trained and equipped to handle any urgent care your pet has. Usually an emergency team consists of at least one veterinarian and several technicians working together to save a pet’s life. Emergencies can be things such as accidental ingestion of rat poison, hit by car, and chocolate ingestion. If you ever feel that your pet needs emergency treatment do not hesitate to call or come in immediately.

We are also available for urgent care when the condition is not life-threatening. If you feel your pet needs to be seen before you are able to get an appointment, our veterinarians will work to “squeeze” you in between scheduled appointments. When you arrive, our receptionists will be able to give you an estimate on how long you may have to wait in order to be seen.
